A most elegant George III rosewood sofa table with the fine figuration of the rosewood top and side flaps enhanced by satinwood cross-banding. Satinwood and ebony stringing to all drawer fronts, with false drawers to the far side, all drawers having turned knob handles and ivory escutcheons. Plain end standards balanced by the graceful sweep of the legs terminating in brass caps and castors, their design further augmented by discreet satinwood stringing.
