Reepham is a charming Georgian market town with an attractive and interesting range of shops. Reepham Market Place is home to the sole East Anglian regional office of Bonhams Auctioneers and the leading Norfolk auctioneers, Keys Fine Art, are just 5 miles away in Aylsham. The KIng’s Arms, an excellent traditional pub, also faces onto the Market Place as does The Dial House, a most handsome 18th Century townhouse, which offers accommodation and meals.
Several exceptional stately homes are close by including the National Trust properties of Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall; and towards the coast are grand estates open to the public but still held in private (0r royal) ownership: Holkham, home to the Earl of Leicester and one of the finest Palladian revival houses in Britain; Houghton Hall, owned by the Marquess of Cholmondeley and consistently home to exceptional artworks and exhibitions; and H M The Queen’s much loved country retreat at Sandringham near King’s Lynn. From Reepham it is an easy drive to Holt - perhaps the most well-known of all the north Norfolk market towns and renowned for art and antiques - and the fine city of Norwich with several excellent museums and galleries as well as a variety of antique shops and emporiums is about 30 minutes away.
